“Least Likely Friends” germinated from a nagging itch that developed a few years ago after doing a show for and with my dear friend Donna Scott. She was looking for another female centric show to produce through her production company, donna scott productions. I remember what a struggle it was for her to find an interesting play with a small cast of all female characters.  We ended up doing a sweet show that the audience loved, but I couldn’t stop thinking that there must be something better. Something with well-rounded, smart women with real screwed up lives and interesting stories to tell. And that’s how Jessica, Mary, Abbie and Robin came into being.  I hope you will find their story compelling, heartbreaking and, yes, funny.
